Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide essential social work services within a K-12 school environment located in Taylor, MI, supporting the social, emotional, and mental health needs of students. This onsite, contract position runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, with a regular schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with individual students or groups in classroom, school, or community settings.
• Collaborate with building principals, psychologists, teachers, and other staff on student intervention teams.
• Consult with parents, school personnel, and community agencies to support student well-being.
• Provide in-service training and parent education programs.
• Participate as a member of the Individualized Educational Planning Team.
• Apply Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques as needed.
• Maintain regular and professional in-person attendance, following all work rules.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan Social Worker license or MI 310 certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Experience working with K-12 students in school social work settings.
• Capacity to manage sensitive situations and support diverse student needs.

Location:

• Northern portion of the Monroe County Co-op, Michigan (specific details to be shared during the interview process).
